The Enzoni - A Stormy Summer Delight

This cocktail is called the Enzoni. The Enzoni was created by barman Vincenzo Errico while working at the NYC bar Milk & Honey in 2003. I imagine that barman Vincenzo Errico created this delicious cocktail because some customer decided to order a "just make me whatever you want" on a busy summer Saturday in Manhattan. It turned out that this cocktail was accidentally on purpose incredibly delicious, and thus this amazing cocktail was born.

The ingredients for the Enzoni are:

  • 5-7 muddled grapes

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • 1.5 oz Gin

  • 1.5 oz Campari or Aperol

Shake with ice, then fine strain to remove grape bits. Of course, pour over a skull-shaped ice cube.

My review of the Enzoni:

There’s an epic thunderstorm going on right now. I love thunderstorms. This cocktail is the perfect one to sit back with and watch an epic thunderstorm.

Just sit back and enjoy the thunderstorm while sipping this delicious cocktail. You may wonder to yourself, "Am I going to lose power for the next several days?" because the storm is pretty bad... But you won't really care because this drink is that good.

It’s also a really good cocktail for a hot summer day. It's multitalented like that.

Rating: 5/5

It's been that kind of day.
